Violin lessons for all ages ~ Violin performance group
"Once a month or once a week, the children can have a group lesson. Children enjoy playing together very much. It is fun to play together in ensemble. Scolding is absent and they all play together without hesitation. Since more advanced students will also be playing, their advanced style will be absorbed by the newer children, not just the sound but also the stance. Through their ability to adapt to the environment, they can pick up something better than themselves with sensitivity and joy."

LESSONS AND CLASSES
Violin for All Ages
Please email me for more information about the classes and to enroll.
SUZUKI VIOLIN FULL PROGRAM
Weekly individual lessons focus on personal technique, musicality, and step-by-step mastery of violin skills at each student's level. Parent or guardian attends. Students also attend regular group classes to develop and strengthen ensemble skills and build a social community of musical friends. I adhere to the standards and guidelines outlined by the Suzuki Association of the Americas, regarding Dr. Suzuki's philosophy of teaching.
VIOLIN LESSONS FOR ADULTS OR TEENS
Beginners or Experienced students, set a schedule that is convenient for both of us. Weekly 45-minute or 60-minute individual lessons. Bi-weekly lessons are also an option. We will follow Suzuki method for its excellent presentation of skill development and musicianship, supplemented by Solos for young Violinists and the ABRSM series, plus any materials you are also interested in studying.
SUZUKI VIOLIN GROUP CLASSES
Students who wish to attend group classes as a supplement to their Suzuki lessons from a different studio may attend regular group classes with us. This class is also open to beginners who are not ready for the full program, but who wish to begin their experience with violin on a more experiential level.
INTRO VIOLIN LESSON
Families who are searching for a studio that is exactly the right fit for their learning style may schedule one lesson with no further commitment. Siblings may share the lesson or schedule lessons consecutively, if the studio schedule allows.
SUMMER VIOLIN LESSONS
Register for 1-2 lessons per week, any time of the summer you're available. Tuition is determined by the total number of summer lessons. There are no group classes in the summer. Email me for scheduling wood.musi@gmail.com
CHAMBER MUSIC COACHING
For students with playing and note-reading experience who would like to explore the world of duets, trios, or quartets. This class depends on several students who are interested in playing together and have compatible levels of experience.
MUSIC EXISTS FOR THE PURPOSE OF GROWING AN ADMIRABLE HEART.
~S. Suzuki 1969
If, as a person works at playing the violin well, he develops the talent to overcome any difficult problem by working, then the talent will be born to accomplish even the hardest problems easily. As a person practices the violin, he creates this talent.
